One night, Denise came across a show on the Discovery Channel called “Growing Up Zebra”. It highlighted the efforts of Louise Joubert and her SanWild
Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa, whose purpose is to save all injured animals - from Black Rhinos to Striped Field Mice, Antelope to Zebras (of course).
The show focused on three baby zebras abandoned by their mothers (either by death or social reasons) or injured in some way and the effort to rehabilitate
them and reunite them with herds. Needless to say, Denise was riveted. She always felt a strong affinity towards zebras that extends beyond simply a
marketing campaign, and sensed that this was the connection to really making the difference she desired.
Denise has made it her mission to help the SanWild Wildlife Sanctuary, and is even planning a trip to South Africa in the coming months to help out
firsthand. The Sanctuary needs funds to operate on a daily basis. Denise has made the commitment to donate a portion of the proceeds for the Safari
Club to SanWild, and has already saved a baby zebra by way of contributions.
Quality of life is one of Denise's mantras, and she tries to instill it in everyone she meets. One key to having quality of life is being able to find
your passion, and act on it. Please share Denise's passion and see how you can help.
